Warhammer 40,000 Darktide has plenty of ways to customise your character, from clothes to weapon skins, but Trinkets are what show the world what you're made of.
This guide will show you how to obtain and apply Trinkets to your weapons in Warhammer 40,000 Darktide.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Trinkets
Trinkets are more challenging to get than other forms of customisation items because they are mostly performance-based rewards. You can find exactly what you need for each in the Penances section of the ESC menu.
Some are as simple as completing the main 'story' by getting a class up to level 30, while others need many separate Penance achievements to be completed to unlock. Luckily, these achievements are account-wide, so don't worry if you want to play multiple classes.
Applying the Trinkets to weapons is even easier;
- Go to the Loadout in your inventory
- Click on the weapon
- Click 'Appearance' in the bottom right of the screen
- Two tabs appear, one for weapon skins, the second for Trinkets
- Preview Trinkets by selecting them
- Click 'Confirm'
Unlocked Trinkets can also be applied to multiple weapons, so you don't have to worry about taking them off or swapping them around if you have one you like.
