Publisher and developer Fatshark has finally shared Warhammer 40,000: Darktide's system requirements, giving us a clearer picture of the PC specs we'll need to battle the agents of Chaos.
Although Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will accommodate more modest PC specs, players who want to squeeze every bit of detail out of the game's industrial sprawl may have to consider an upgrade.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide System Requirements
If you don't want to compromise and lower your settings, the initial system requirements recommended using an Nvidia RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT video card.
While they're not "new" anymore, the GPU shortage of the past couple of years might have made grabbing one at a decent price fairly difficult.

The extended PC specs cover a wider range of hardware and, if you want to live the 4K/ray tracing dream while enjoying a high frame rate, you will seemingly have to look towards Nvidia's latest generation of GPUs.
Judging by what was shared so far, Darktide's locations can look quite impressive and its visuals have seen improvements over Vermintide 2, Fatshark's other popular co-op game, so an upgrade of any sort might just be worth it.
